You can be assured of a warm welcome in our bright, modern premises. Our main Sunday morning service is at 10am when we meet for worship, prayer and teaching. This can be Worship Together, Morning Worship or Holy Communion, with separate groups for children and young people. A popular new venture is the Early Bird Service A popular new venture is the Early Bird Service which is held on the first and third Sundays of the month from 9 to 9.30am and is especially for families with young children. Prayer for healing is occasionally held as part of the main Holy Communion morning service. The church centre comprises a large worship area, hall and adjoining rooms where the children's groups and other activities are held. The buildings are used extensively throughout the week by the church and local community. For bookings, ring 942 7078. Other church activities on offer include: ‘Piglets’ Carers and Toddlers Group - providing a welcoming and friendly place where children can play and interact with each other, and where their parents, nannies and childminders can meet and socialise. The sessions include a story, music and singing. Led by members of the church on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings during school term time. Housegroups - small groups meeting in people's homes for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. For full details of all groups, follow the link on the main menu. Wednesday Group for Seniors - meets on the first and third Wednesday afternoons of each month for a varied programme. 'Movies at St Michael's' showing popular films, quizzes and other activities are always popular, but there are always board games for those who prefer them. Tea is always served. Ladies’ Group - meets on the second Tuesday of the month. Each session includes a prayer, a talk and a lovely cuppa! Upper Room Club - a regular meeting place for people with learning difficulties.
